I knock doors, and I usually have people try and recruit me to sell whatever trash item they peddle.
Despite the fact that I sell people...I HATE when people try and sell me! I will never be the type of person who buys things on the door, which is why I'm surprised when I actually convince people to buy what I sell.
But usually the organization that people are part of is what's been referred to as a 'pyramid'. We all know how they work. I think they're a huge way of ripping people off, and quite frankly, I think they even destroy friendships and families.
The common phrase that people use to get you to sell in their pyramid scheme is, "There is at least 400,000 dollars within your close group of friends and family." That is an awful way of thinking.
Sucking off the life force of those around you makes you a leech. You aren't able to have a conversation with anyone without bringing up your company. And suddenly people that you never thought you'd talk to again are instantly your best friends.
Let's just say, that if you're using the ward directory to build up your client base, you're doing something wrong. I will never be like that!

I agree with you 100%!!!!! I can't stand multilevel marketing companies, the people on the bottom are usually spending far more than they are making and doing far more work than the people on top. So what is it that you sell you have me curious. :)
